Cultural Outing: Thursday 27 June at the Auckland Zoo in Western Springs. The zoo costs $24 for adults/$19 seniors, but you can reduce this to $19/$15 by booking online at least a day in advance. Feel free to bring grandchildren. Meet at the Wētāpunga Café at the entrance plaza from 10 am. We'll start moving through the zoo at 10:30. For lunch, we will decide on the day whether to stay in the zoo or go on to a nearby cafe such as Spilt Milk in Pt Chevalier.
