Five bikes turned up today, and four departed for the run. We were going north, but where? After Kaiwaka we turned left, time for a change, with Mountain Road first. We regrouped at Mangaturoto for lunch, then Paparoa. Another detour was good until the sign said "Council maintentance ends here". That was a laugh, so we found another route with more metal. A stop at Waipu was followed by a few more different metal routes.
A bloody good day. Thanks to TEC Linda Bleasdale, and Grant for leading me astray. A little 400k today, and I think there might be a metal run some weekend soon.
