We had eight riders and about five talkers at Papakura this morning. The longer ride to McLaren Falls was postponed until next week because the weather wasn't good. However, the rain stopped by 10:30 so the usual ride went ahead.
David Tantrum led us to Hopin Stopin cafe but on different roads to those we usually take. Along the way we stopped on the north side of Lake Hakanoa in Huntly, in a nice little park with carvings around the entrance to Raahui Pookeka Gardens.
At Hopin Stopin, we were joined by two of the talkers who had driven down from Papakura.
We were expecting to get wet going home, but I think most of us would have made it home without any significant precipitation. I almost did.
