21 bikes and one pillion on the ride today, and two came to the meeting place to socialize. Martin Glover led us through the back roads of Papakura, Hunua, Clevedon and on to Maraetai for our first regroup. After telling tales there for a while it was onto Beachlands and a couple of stops at Pine Habour. After looking at bikes cars and boats a few of us led by Lou Waller rode up to the top of the grassy hill out on the point, then we headed off through Whitford to our lunch spot at Botany. Hattaways Cottage was the place, an old house made into a cafe. They served very nice food and the service was great considering 22 people arrived unannounced. It was very good local ride. Thanks to Martin Glover RIC and Charlie Tee Tail End Charlie.
